CLAIMS STANDING COMMITTEE

The committee provides input when required to the Life & Risk Board Committee on issues pertaining to claims. It also helps to formulate the reporting templates for the ASISA claims payout statistics and claims fraud statistics and works closely with the Medical & Underwriting Standing Committee.

GROUP RISK STANDING COMMITTEE

The committee provides input to the Life & Risk Board Committee on issues pertaining to group risk products and reviews the ASISA Guideline on Claims Experience for Group Schemes annually.

MEDICAL & UNDERWRITING STANDING COMMITTEE

ASISA point person: Anna Rosenberg

The mandate of the committee is to protect the ability of the risk industry to underwrite; draft best practice guidelines in the interests of clients; and liaise with the Claims Standing Committee, external stakeholders, and service providers.
