The long term insurance industry under the auspices of the Life Offices’ Association of South Africa (LOA), joined by the South African Insurance Association (SAIA), co-sponsored an enquiry to identify problem areas in the consumer credit insurance market and to assist in eradicating undesirable practices with a view towards better consumer protection.
